Temperature Inversion

They say that up on the mountains, the sky is blue right now and the temperature is pleasant. Down here in the city, however, we're socked in with chilly, damp mist. If I drove just half an hour, I'd be looking down on the grey blanket and enjoying sunshine...

In my backyard, the snow continues to melt and things are looking sad. The good news is that my lovely red tree/bush seems to have recovered from the huge load of snow that almost flattened it. Yay! I'm holding out hope that spring will come. One day...
